Instead of using traditional bingo books, players can now use their android phones to play Jamie’s Bingo!

Yes it sounds a bit posh but we’re finding that players are finding this method easier for them.

Your android device must have a camera to be able to scan the QR code (special picture that tells the app what session you’re playing) of the bingo session.  Android tablets are easier to use than phones due to the size of their screen.

The app is called Touch Tickets 90 allows you to:

• Play easily – touch a number to mark it, touch again to unmark
• Shows when you only need 1 number for a win – flashes the number(s) you need
• Highlights the winning ticket for easy identification
• 21 pen colours to choose from. Can also be set to use a different colour for each ticket or use a random colour
• Includes all the 90 number game types available in Jamie’s Bingo (except backwards bingo)

The app does cost 75p and can be downloaded from here.  There is a lite version for free but this doesn’t contain all of the games played at Jamie’s Bingo.
